To Fit Threaded Jewellery

  • Hold both the labret & the attachment.

  • Twist both ends in opposite directions..

  • To refit, put the pin inside the labret and twist back together.

  • Make sure you feel resistance to indicate its tight.

  • There should be no space between the bar and the attachment when the jewellery is screwed together properly.

To Fit A Hinged Ring

  • Look closely at the ring to determine where the hinge is and where the opening is.

  • Hold both sides of the opening and pull the segment part outwards.

  • To refit, holding both sides of the opening again, push back together, slotting the segment into the rings concave.

To Fit A Seam Ring

  • Look closely at the ring to determine where the opening is.

  • Hold both sides of the opening, push one side and pull the other in a twist motion.

  • To refit, holding both sides of the opening again, push back together.

  • Over shoot lining the jewellery up again as this helps bring it back to a flush closure.

To Fit A Ball Closure Ring

  • Hold the ball firmly and one side of the ring right next to the ball.

  • Firmly Push the ball out from one side.

  • To refit, line the dimple up from one side of the ball to one side of the ring.

  • Push the ball in firmly until the dimple clips into the ring.

Insertion Pins

Used for guiding jewellery into the piercing channel. The tapers below are very handy for anyone wanting the change jewellery themselves at home. Each one comes with a sachet of sterile lubricant as healed piercings can become dry inside and the lubricant eases the process.

They're very simple to use, simply screw or push the taper into the jewellery you're wanting to insert, then align the tip of the insertion pin into the piercing channel and gently follow through. It's important you don't push too hard or attempt to break the skin, these are not made for puncturing as they're blunt, they are simply used as a guide pin.

After the whole pin has gone through the piercing channel and the desired jewellery is inserted, simply removed the taper and put on the attachment to secure. A little wipe with a tissue to remove any residue lubricant and you're good to go.
